Common Ground is Now a Certified Lovable Expert Builder

We have news we’re proud to share: Common Ground Consulting is now a Certified Expert App Builder and a Certified Expert Website Builder through Lovable’s new Partner Program. We’re also in the top 10% of builders on Lovable.

For us, this recognition marks an important step in work that has become central to our practice: combining strategic consulting with the ability to build the cutting-edge technology our clients need.

Nonprofits, foundations, and coalitions bring us questions that rarely fit neatly into an off-the-shelf product. How do we hear from more of the people affected by our decisions? How do we make complex information useful? How do we give a small team tools that match the scale of its ambitions?

With Lovable, an AI-powered platform for building websites and applications, we can turn those questions into working tools—and refine them with the people who will use them.

    Recognition Grounded in the Work

Lovable launched its Partner Program to connect organizations with people and agencies building on its platform. Its Expert certification evaluates shipped projects and build-quality signals, alongside learning modules covering security, client delivery, and search visibility.

“We know the questions nonprofits are trying to answer. Now we can build the tools that help them get there.” — Craig Bowman, Common Ground Consulting

Earning both certifications reflects the range of what we’re building: public websites that communicate an organization’s purpose and applications that support its work.

Our own Common Ground website was one of our earliest Lovable projects. We built it to introduce our services and demonstrate what AI-assisted development could make possible. Since then, we’ve continued applying that approach to challenges our clients face.

Prompted!: Making Room for More Voices

One of our favorite examples is Prompted!, our bespoke stakeholder engagement tool. Meaningful stakeholder engagement takes time. Scheduling interviews, accommodating different languages, and giving people a comfortable way to contribute can limit how many voices an organization hears.

Prompted! allows us to conduct AI stakeholder interviews at scale, with participants responding in their native language through text or voice. We tailor each version to the client’s context and the questions its planning process needs to explore.

We’ve developed bespoke versions for five clients so far.

The purpose is straightforward: create more opportunities for people to share their experiences, priorities, and ideas—and bring those perspectives into strategic decision-making. A board member, staff member, community partner, or person an organization serves may see the same challenge very differently. Those differences deserve attention.

Technology expands how we can listen. Our human consulting work helps organizations make sense of what they hear, consider competing perspectives, and decide what to do next.

You can see an example of how planning information can be presented for review and discussion here. The demo uses a fictional organization.

What This Means for Our Clients

This partnership strengthens a practical combination: understanding mission-driven organizations and building tools around their work.

That might mean a stakeholder interview system, a website that makes your mission and services clearer, or an application that helps your team manage information and decisions. The starting point is the problem you need to solve, the people who will use the tool, and what success would look like for them.

AI-assisted development makes it possible to put an early version in front of those people sooner, learn from their experience, and improve it. Good questions, thoughtful design, testing, and human judgment remain essential.

We’re proud of the certification. We’re even more excited about what we can build with our clients next.
